The founder of Living Christ Mission (LCM) Onitsha,
Most Rev. Daddy Hezekiah has lamented the rising
wave of crimes and natural disasters in several
parts of the world saying that it all points to signs of
Christ’s coming.
Rev. Hezekiah, who made the observation during a
thanksgiving service at the church headquarters,
Onitsha as part of events marking the 30 years
existence of the LCM, declared that what is playing
out today both in the advanced and developing
countries is indeed evil.
He said, “a reflection of
world events today will
show you that the days
are indeed evil. There is
no doubt that what is
happening in the world
today in a sign of the
coming of Christ and the
close the age.
“Tribulations,
persecutions, emergence
of false religions, many
false prophets who have
led many people astray,
gay practices,
kidnapping, ritual killing,
terrorism, use of
weapons of mass
destruction of human
lives, corruption exists in
high and low places
among others”.
He noted, however, that
in spite of all these
happening, the Lord has
not only preserved his
people, but also kept
them strong in the faith.
Giving insight of the
celebration, Rev.
Hezekiah revealed that
the church has clocked
30 years which called for
appreciating the Almighty who made it possible.
