The Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKED) has announced that there will be seven hour power supply interruption to some areas within in Lagos today . The Assistant General Manager (Public Affairs) Mr Godwin Idemudia, in a statement said that the interruption will take place between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm due to routine maintenance work to be carried out on line 2 of Ajah-Alagbon 132kv line. Areas to be affected by the outage include; Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Obalende and Lagos Island. The statement further added that the routine maintenance to be carried out was for better efficiency of its facilities so as to enhance improved service delivery to its customers.
